Question 1:
what are some of the things that schools in Singapore are doing in order to take care of the environment?

Singapore Enviroment Country and the National Enviroment Agency to get students to reduce their home energy use.In school, they issues like energy conservation and climate change. Pupils from Elias primary bring their own fruits from home as part of a healthy eating exercise and then get to thrw fruit waste into the worm compost bins, which convert food waste into fertilisers. Through all this activity, one of the pupils also learnt not to leave electronics on standby mode any more, and instead switches them off when not in use.

Question 2:
Do you think one person's effort in reducing, reusing and recycling will make a difference in saving the environment? What steps have you taken in the effort to save the earth?

Yes. I play my part not to litter the enviroment as it could destroy its natural habitat and also its beauty. I learnt about the 3Rs- Reuse,reduce and recycle. I also learnt what would happen to the earth if we do not stop littering around. This may attract the pests to come eat it and then the pests would spread it around causing diseases which may affect the human beings. The people would then be sick and his or her condition would get worse and in the end died. Not only that, the earth would be detroy too. If we do not want this to happen, Lets do our part not to litter on the ground and instead use the 3Rs- Reuse, Reduce and Reycle.
